One Man Band is a short animated film by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. The film was directed by Andrew Jimenez and Mark Andrews. This short film won the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, in France. Therefore, it won the Platinum Grand Prize at the Future Film Festival in Bologna, Italy.
Into the place of a city appears a man that is playing to the horn. Therefore, he is playing the drum. Some seconds later, a girl appears at the same place to make a wish and throw a coin into a fountain. But when she listens to the trunk man she goes to him to give him the coin.
But a second later that the girl gives the coin to the man, a second man starts to playing the cello, and the girl goes to the cello man "scene", that for her, seems more interesting than the horn man.
When the girl is at the point of giving the coin to the cello man, the horn man starts playing the drunk and doing some different actions to attract her attenion.
After that, the men start to do a fight, but with instruments. Some seconds later, the two men move closer to her because they are doing too much noise, the girl covers her ears. So the girl drops the coin and it falls into a sewer.
So that's why the girl orders to the cello man to give her a small cello, and then she takes the initiative because her intention is recover her coin playing to the cello.
When she starts playing the cello, it is out of tune, but she polishes it and some second later she can obtains more money than the men in their lives.
Then, the girl takes two coins of her coins bag and she throws them to the fountain.
I choose this movie because I think that I watched this film in the Shrek 1 and it brings me good memories from when I was younger. What I liked the most is when the girl throws the two coins to the fountain and the poker faces of the men.
